About My Harmless Hobbies
Hi! Lew here. You found my website. Who Am I?
I am the devoted husband of Jacqui, who runs WoolWinders: A Knitting Salon in Rockville, Maryland.
I am the proud father of Ben (senior at Clarkson University) and Larry (freshman at St. Mary’s College of Maryland).
I am a lawyer with Kelley Drye & Warren’s Washington DC office and chair of the firm’s Advertising Law Practice Group.
I am a high handicap golfer who belongs to Norbeck Country Club in Olney, Maryland. I am always optimistic that my next round will be the first time I break 90. At the moment, breaking 100 would be great.
I am an intrepid knitter.
I am a fan of attending live concerts. I probably attend between 20-25 concerts a year. That pace has been pretty consistent since I was 17 or over 750 concerts ago! The first concert I attended was to see Jim Morrison and the Doors at Westbury Music Fair. I was 11 or so.
I root for the Caps, Mets, Nats, Jets and Redskins.
I like to travel. Who doesn’t?
My favorite cigar is a Montecristo No. 2 from Havana.
I’ve had some form of website up since 1990 or so, when I created the Advertising Law Internet Site for work. This is my personal site and has taken many forms over the years. Currently, I use WordPress and each entry is a single photograph reflecting what I do to stay busy and out of trouble. Generally, that means pix of golf, travel, rock and roll, cigars, knitting, wine or the family.
Leave a comment if you like one of my photos.
Peace,
Lew
